Introducing Magic All Metal Polish: Your Ultimate Metal Shine Solution

When it comes to metal polish, our minds often drift to the sparkle of our cherished silverware or the dazzling shine of our car parts. While Magic All Metal Polish is indeed a master at those tasks, its utility extends far beyond. This versatile product is the key to restoring the brilliance of a wide range of metals, making it a must-have in every home.

Magic All Metal Polish is perfect for:
  1. Stainless Steel: Give your kitchen appliances and fixtures a showroom finish.
  2. Brass: Restore the lustre of your antique brass decor and accents.
  3. Bronze: Bring out the timeless beauty of bronze sculptures and ornaments.
  4. Copper: Make your copper cookware and decorations gleam with radiance.
  5. Chrome: Achieve that mirror-like shine on your car’s chrome parts.
  6. Silver and Gold: Revive the precious metals with sentimental value.

It’s not just limited to these metals, though. Magic All Metal Polish works wonders on a variety of items and surfaces:

  • Antiques: Breathe new life into your cherished antiques, from candlesticks to vintage heirlooms.
  • Auto/Bike & Boat Parts: Your vehicles and watercraft will glisten, attracting envious glances.
  • Sinks & Taps: Bid farewell to water stains and dullness in your kitchen and bathroom.
  • Pots & Pans: Cookware that looks as good as new not only performs better but also elevates your culinary experience.
  • Stainless Steel Cooktops: Enjoy a spotless, streak-free surface on your cooktop.
  • Hotplate Rims: Protect and enhance the appearance of your hotplate rims.
  • Door Handles: First impressions matter – let your door handles make a statement.
  • Balustrades: Ensure your home’s railings and bannisters radiate elegance.

Here’s a handy tip:

When using Magic All Metal Polish on brushed stainless steel, always follow the direction of the grain to avoid cloudiness. For stainless steel fridges and dishwashers, consider using Magic Stainless Steel Cleaner and Protector for optimal results.

Note:

Please note that while Magic All Metal Polish is incredibly effective, it’s not suitable for use on anodized aluminium. Take care when applying it to soft metals like pewter or plated metals to prevent damage.

How to Use

Always refer to appliance cleaning instructions. Test on an inconspicuous area before use.

  1. Shake bottle before use.
  2. Ensure the metal surface is clean and dry.
  3. Rub Magic All Metal Polish™ onto the metal surface with a clean, dry cloth. After application, the polish may turn a dark colour on the polishing cloth as it removes the oxide/tarnish.
  4. Once all the tarnish has been removed, buff to a brilliant shine with a clean cloth.

Note: *Not suitable for use on anodized aluminium. Use with caution on soft metals such as pewter or plated metals.

Handy Hint: Always polish brushed stainless steel in the direction of the grain; otherwise, it will become cloudy in appearance.

"Go Rubbedin - I love the fact you have a great range that is biodegradable and made locally (brisbane-ite). I wanted to let you know that I really love the 'Magic range' of products. Magic All Metal Polish™ is especially my favourite but seems to be the most difficult to find. I've just seen it has now swapped to being stocked in IGA stores in my area (guess I'm going there now :)) I regularly use descale magic and cooktop magic and tell everyone to go and buy your products - keep on your winning ways please."  Fredda QLD

"I have been using your "Magic All Metal Polish™"  to clean church brass, bronze, silver and gold items for several months.
I have over 100 items to clean - other churches would have more!! - and I am delighted with it.
I am recommending it to other 'church polishers', as, used carefully, it does not seem to leave the deposits of other commercial products. Best Wishes, Sue"

Can Metal Magic be used on Fine Silver?

Yes it can but do not rub too hard. Metal Magic will overtime remove a very tiny amount of the surface of the silver.

* Fine Silver is generally items that are older than 50 years. To determine whether you have fine silver or not, check to see whether the item has a stamp on it – EPNS which stands for Electro Plated Nickel Silver. EPNS is the current silver used today, which is silver that has nickel added to it to increase metal hardness.

Fine Silver is 99.9% silver.
Sterling Silver
is a high quality silver alloy = 92.5% silver (with copper or other metals)
German silver
a silvery, hard, corrosion-resistant, ductile, malleable alloy of copper, zinc, and nickel, used in tableware and as a structural material for hospital and restaurant equipment. German silver, name for various alloys of copper, zinc, and nickel, sometimes also containing lead and tin. They were originally named for their silver-white colour, but use of the term silver is now prohibited for alloys not containing that metal.
German silver varies in composition, the percentage of the three elements ranging approximately as follows: copper, from 50% to 61.6%; zinc, from 19% to 17.2%; nickel, from 30% to 21.1%. The proportions are always specified in commercial alloys. German silver is extensively used because of its hardness, toughness, and resistance to corrosion for articles such as tableware (commonly silver plated), marine fittings, and plumbing fixtures. Because of its high electrical resistance it is used also in heating coils. It was discovered (early 19th cent.) by a German industrial chemist, E. A. Geitner.
Nickel silver - An alloy of copper, zinc, and nickel, often in the proportions 5:2:2. It resembles silver in appearance and is used in cheap jewellery and cutlery and as a base for silver-plated wire. Nickel silver, sometimes known as German silver or nickel brass, is a silver-white alloy composed of 52 percent to 80 percent copper, 10 percent to 35 percent zinc, and 5 percent to 35 percent nickel. It may also contain a small percent of lead and tin. There are other forms of nickel silver, but the term "German silver" is the name used in the silverware trade.

There is a lot of black stuff coming off onto my rag

That is the oxide coming off the metal. There is nothing to worry about; you actually want that to happen, it means it is working.

Why can it not be used on Anodised Aluminium?

Anodised Aluminium has a coating applied to the metal which is not able to be polished.

Why do you say to rub lightly on gold and fine silver?

Metal Magic contains a cutting compound, gold and fine silver are very soft metals and therefore will remove a very fine layer of the metal surface if rubbed to heavily.
