Have you got loose or broken fuel stove bricks? Firewise Instant Brick is a heat resistant firebrick mix specifically designed for replacing and/or repairing fireplace bricks. It can withstand temperatures of up to 1000 degrees. It's simple to use and dries overnight.

How to use our heat resistant firebrick mix
- Empty whole contents of tub into plastic bucket.
- Add water slowly, mixing with a trowel until a dry crumbly paste is obtained.
- Add more water slowly until mix is a pliable ball.
- On a clean flat surface mould to the size & shape brick required. Trim with a knife if necessary.
- Clean area to be filled removing any loose material and dust. Then wet the area with water.
- Place brick in firmly to take up vacant space.
- Air dry for 24 hours. Then heat set with a small gentle fire. Your unit is then ready for normal use.
Can pregnant woman use it?
Yes, anything that can cause fetal abnormalities has to be stated, by law, globally.
What temperature is the product effective to?
1000C.
Is it ok for outside on my brick BBQ?
Yes, protect from rain/moisture for 24 hrs until curing process is complete.
I have broken bricks in my fire place, am I able to spread this over all of the bricks and fill in the hole?
Yes.
Can I use instant brick in a load bearing wall?
No Instant brick should not be used in a load bearing wall. It would be best to use concrete.
What is the difference between Hotspot and Black patch?
The colour (hot spot is a sandy colour, black patch is black – ideal for cast irons).
